Detached follows two teenage boys whose friendship exists in an uncertain space between connection and distance. As they spend time together, unspoken emotions, insecurities, and expectations begin to surface, forcing both of them to confront what they truly mean to one another. Set against the quiet backdrop of contemporary Belgian youth, the film explores loneliness, identity, and the fear of becoming emotionally detached from the people we care about.
