Alex is a straight man who escapes to Taipei from Manila, leaving his pregnant girlfriend behind, in the hope of confronting his estranged mother, and Jerry, a Taiwanese aboriginal gay student, who is afraid that his traditional parents would not accept him for being gay. Together, they form a serendipitous friendship that is going to change their lives forever.
